Caroline Gilby

Caroline studied biology. This career direction left after she won the competition Decanter-Macallan Malt Whisky Taster of the Year Award. Title Master of Wine gained in 1992. Caroline specializes in wines of Central and Eastern Europe, and she works as a freelance journalist and consultant. For example, contributes to the collections of The Oxford Companion to Wine and World Atlas of Wine and participates on the book by Hugh Johnson'Pocket Wine Book.

Lenka Sedláčková

Lenka is fresh holder of title of Master of Wine, first in the Czech Republic. She has sixteen years living in the UK, where she works as a marketing manager at the renowned British importer Fields, Morris and Verdin (part of Berry Bros & Rudd). In her free time, she writes with two other authors of the blog The WineMonkeys and regularly participates as a jury member at wine competitions.

Romana Echensperger

She is a master sommelier many years in renowned restaurants, Germany and Spain. Since 2011 works as an independent consultant and trainer. In 2015 received the title of Master of Wine. She regularly publishes articles from the field winemaking in German and Dutch magazines and leads workshops under the auspices of the German Wine Institute.

Luca Gardini

Luca is world class sommelier, taster, writer, co-owner of Casa di Mare restaurant and ambassador Made in Italy. Already in the fifteen years he completed the first sommelier course at the Associazione Italia Sommelier and in 1996 he became a member. Luca recieved many awards, at the age of 22 he was awarded the Top Sommelier Italy, 2009 Sommelier of Europe and 2010 Sommelier of the World. He promotes Italien wines, winemaking and export Made in Italy. Luca published the book Codice Gardini, he contributes to his blog Gardini Notes, CHI or Ristorazione Italiana magazine and also, he has a column in the Gazzetta dello Sport. His current news is the wine guide Corriede della Sera.

Raimonds Tomsons

Raimonds Tomsons comes from Latvia. He worked for several top restaurants in the capital city Riga, where he continued to improve his sommelier skills. From 2007 to 2015, he was three times Best Sommelier in Latvia, twice Best Sommelier of the Baltics. In 2016, he was the 7th Best Sommelier of the World and finished his WSET Diploma at the Austrian Wine Academy. This year, he was awarded the Best Sommelier of Europe and Africa. Currently, he is a member of the Latvian Sommelier Association, he is a juror of Latvia's Wine of the Year and is the owner of Raimonds Tomsons Wine Consulting.
