The Spring Fair IWSP, which took place on May 29, 2018 at the Prague Hilton Hotel, celebrates with 20th edition 10 years on the Czech market and also a record participation!

Over 750 visitors from the professional public, sales and wine trade, with a share of distributors and HORECA segment visited the 20th IWSP. Visitors could taste wines from 70 exhibitors from 13 countries. Most producers introduced Italy from 9 wine regions, as well as Spain, Hungary, Portugal, Chile, Israel, France or Greece.

The great show of Riesling was offered by Austria and Germany. IWSP, together with the German platform for young wine growers up to 35 years of age, Generation Riesling presented 8 wineries whose wine was a part of the tasting accompanying masterclass program led by a special guest, Raimonds Tomsons from Latvia, last year's winner of The Best Sommelier of Europe and Africa.

Second masterclass VDP. Die Prädikatsweingüter, led by Mr. Michael Bardel of Krakow, Ambassador VDP, the oldest German Wine Association, introduced Riesling and Pinot from Saxony, Pfalz, Rheinhessen and Mosely.

Numerous parts were Czech production and distribution of classic and sparkling wines, but also wines from neighbouring Slovakia.

We thank exhibitors and visitors for a great atmosphere - your favour and positive reactions are very pleasing to us and motivate us to prepare for the autumn 21st IWSP, which takes place on October 23, 2018!
