Spring International Wine Show Prague, the international B2B wine trade fair for professionals, was held on Thursday, April 6th 2017, at the Hilton Prague Hotel.

The fair offered mainly foreign products, but also 10 Moravian wineries and 3 Czech distributors took part in a total of 75 exhibitors. Huge part of the fair was occupied by Italian producers, including the selection of partner wineries of sommelier Luca Gardini. The following countries participated: Spain, Portugal, France, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Slovenia, Poland and Bulgaria. An interesting component was the presentation of Scotch Whiskey Angus Dundee Distillers.

The rich offer came to see 658 visitors from the professional public.

The Fair was guaranteed by Chairwoman of IWSP Romana Echensperger MW from Germany, who also led the first day masterclass with sixteen selected wines of German Member’s wineries - Association VDP.Die Prädikatsweingüter to thematically followed the October IWSP fair.

Another highly rated accompanying program titled "Wines of California" featured Justin Knock MW with emphasis on Chardonnay and Zinfandel.

The last tasting was given by Luca Gardini, the Italian sommelier of the world class (Sommelier of Europe 2009 and Sommelier of the World 2010), who spoke about twelve wines of the Italian producers mentioned above.

The fairs were again visited and appreciated by the excellent Czech sommelier Klára Kollárová and the first Czech Master of Wine Lenka Sedláčková.

We thank all exhibitors and visitors for their positive feedbacks and suggestive comments.

We are already actively planning the October fair, a specific date of 19th IWSP is October 11th 2017.
